Impurities Photo-Filtration Methodology: Dungeness’ landscape acts as a filtration system of its own, concealing and revealing impurities. The photo-filtration methodology aims to detect impurities shown on the surface from a 360 degree VR scan.
The Cookie Data: Diagram of the cookie data collected from 120 minutes of personal internet usage. The data were organized into hierarchical configuration according to the size of information collected.
4-Tier Data Structure: The data collected were sorted into 4 different tiers based on the duration spent on the website and the amount of information collected.

The Filtration Landscape:
An Exploration to Parametrically Designed Architectural Filtration System

Inspired by Dungeness’ landscape characteristics and intentionality, the project is an exploration of a filtrating landscape parametrically generated by internet filtration data. Similar as Dungeness’ Landscape that acts as a filtration system that reveals and conceals objects/ impurities that is shown on its surface, the internet filters informations that are shown to its user.
The filtration system consisted of light filters, circulation filters and water/ shingle filters. Exploring the idea of the intentional and unintentional, each panel were placed deliberately but the space’s utilization was determined by the inhabitant. This project became the research basis for the “Reinventing Dungeness’ photographic Icon”project.
